50 Shades of Colours

Hi, guys, I just want to share pictures of some of the coolest glasses ever. It was an 'exhibition' held in school. My tutor said it was one of the best, if not the best, accessory exhibition she have ever visited. And considering she went to A LOT of exhibitions, probably it was such a compliment for the glasses designers whose works were showcased hahaha... It has ended on the 3rd of November, unfortunately, but that was why I took photos; to capture all these beauties and keep them forever, by memories.

And, my absolute favorite...

In Every Season We Shop

Don't you agree, shopaholics? It doesn't matter in what season we're in, we ALWAYS find one or two reasons to shop. For example:

Me: I need black boots.
Me: And brown, cause I don't have brown.
Me: Well, I do, but I have the chocolate brown, not the tanned leather brown.
Me: And I need new coats as well.
Me: My coats are all old and boring. I want maroon, and green, and navy blue, and grey.
Me: Because I have blue and grey outerwears, but they are blazers, not coats. I need coats. Winter is coming.

See?

But for now, I have to stick with what I have, because I'm saving for the winter break sale! And Margiela at H&M! And boxing day! Hahaha <3 p="p">

No, no, I didn't dye my hair

Green shirt - Bershka
Blue jumper - Cotton Ink
Shorts - Forever 21
Tights - Zara
Socks - Sox Galeri
Flats - New Look

All Black and All Laid Back

Hahahaha *okay why am I laughing?* becauseee I will finally start posting my outfit posts when I was in South Koreahhh *claps* Let me start with this set.

Tunic - Damn! I Love Indonesia
Outerwear - Cotton Ink
Skorts - Sportsgirl
Flip Flops - Ipanema

It was raining cats and dogs during the two days I stayed in Jeju Island, thus the indoor pictures, inside a mini market. Well, I was thinking it was now or never because usually when I wanted to recap what I was wearing days or weeks before, plan always canceled.

I enjoyed being a tourist with a pair of flip flop during the summer. Let's face it, it was comfy. The first day I punished my feet with new flats and my sisters and I were carrying 20++ kgs luggage up and down the train stations, crossroads, uphills, downhills, we practically walked the whole day. So yeah, my feet were resting for a day before the owner tortured them again the next day.

Ciao.

Maison Martin Margiela x H&M

Even though I think H&M was too ambitious launching 3 designer collaborations in a year, I was really looking forward for this one. I was in love with Marni at H&M, thus I bought three pieces from the collection (I would buy more if they didn't run out of the necklaces, trust me). I loved it because I know they looked fashionable, ahead of the trend (printed trousers mixed with printed tops anyone?), and the most important thing; they did not look cheap.

The first designer collaboration comeback after Lanvin (oh this one I wouldn't miss it for the world if I was in the fashion city back then, but no unfortunately), which was Versace, and the third one ADR were...what do I call it? Far from perfection. I could be meaner than saying "far from perfection", but oh well... When I saw the collection pieces on the Internet for Versace and ADR at H&M, I knew already they wouldn't look great, particularly the latter. They looked cheap and they were just so very tacky. I was confused by people who bought those. Was it because of the branding? Did they care more about designer collaboration theme instead of the designs? Or maybe, well, we just have different tastes in designs. Sorry for being too opinionated.

BUT, I'm posting this not to complain about the previous collaborations, but rather, bringing images from the newest one! The fact that Margiela graduated from Royal Academy of Arts in Antwerp, one of the most prestigious fashion schools in the world, just excite me so much because I know he will bring good stuff on the table. His designs were so much on deconstructions, "a monochromatic palette, outsized garments, non-traditional fabrics, exposed seams, or roughly appliquéd details" stated Forty Five Ten. So let's see... (I picked my favorites btw ;D)

And here are the photo shoots

If you love classic pieces upgraded to the next level, then save some cash for 15th of November, when this collection will be sold in H&M stores.

The price started at £9.99 for the belts. In total there are 59 garments for ladies and 41 for the gentlemen. For a more complete collection, head to Vogue!

Challenge Accepted!

Hi there. I had one problem in my first week coming back here. I needed my closet back. During that week I had to dress with what I have in my luggage, only the outfits I brought from my home country. And not that they were small in amount, but they just didn't match each other. Really, that was a mix & match challenge. The colours for most clothing didn't look good together (red, green, purple, and no, not pastels) and the styles were not the same in general. So I had been wearing pants and loose tops, and I looked very boyish. Well, I like some of the looks that I had worn myself, but still... I needed the other staple clothing that at that time still sat in the storage. Here was the look that I came up with for a Saturday hangout.

Top - 16DS
Dress underneath - Supre
Tights - H&M
Socks and shoes - Monki
Bag - Cupcake

Taking outfit pictures in Oxford Street on a Saturday wasn't completely a good idea. With all the people roaming around and shopping, it was more or less a busy crowded background. But they probably thought I was a tourist taking pictures, so no shame needed ;)

Actually the purplish blue dress underneath seemed a little off with the pastels look, but hmmm... it wasn't that bad, I guess, in terms of a colour palette. My theory lately was there should be a not expect-able colour in a colour palette. Might you try?

Ciao.
