Life is Good

I think it's sort of unforgivable when a blogger bails on his/her blog for months with the reason, "I'm too busy with life." There's no good enough reason for me to say why I haven't update this blog in such a long time. So I'll let you judge me.

Not a new wardrobe or anything, just an addition to my old stuff; an old vintage looking skirt from River Island. Since it's spring awakening right here, I'm starting to wear less layers, go bare-legged and also dress more girly than in winter time.

I joked to my friends, "Parents would love the trend currently. Their daughters don't have to dress in mini skirts that show their butt cheeks because knee-length skirts or below-the-knee skirts are so in."

My friend joked back, "Even though the skirt is below the knee, but the top is above the belly button."

And I was like, "Oh yeah. That's true."

Comfort Zone

Sometimes, the unsaid warmth feeling inside your heart is being home for the whole day, sleeping in your bed, waking up to read a book whilst listening to oldies songs such as The Beatles & Frank Sinatra. To be honest, they're not my favorites but oldies songs are that good. And then here I am, typing up on my blog so a new one will be posted.

I remembered on that day last year in Seoul, South Korea,we separated ourselves from the tour and went to Hongdae--an area famous for the cheap Korean barbeque because it was an area for university students. And damn it was one of the best barbeques I've had in my whole life. It was fairly cheap and satisfying. Then after our lunch, we went to Cheonggyecheon to take some pictures.

If you haven't noticed, I love to wear double volume of clothing. Very loose both on top and bottom. And this is one of the examples. Oline Workrobe and Cotton Ink are both Indonesian brands who produce loose garments with fabulous designs. They're not similar, they have their own characteristics but we can always make many different brands work together. For what I've examined, while Oline Workrobe has more intricate sides (like the detail on the collar of this top), Cotton Ink is the perfect stock for basic items (neutral-coloured A-line skirt). And them together, makes one of my most favorite outfits I've pulled out during my vacation to South Korea last summer. This is the last batch of outfit photographs from SK edition (and everybody pukes). I can't even tell where I got that phrase from. SK edition, really?

Back to Being Bipolar

Well, not me! The weather, of course. You just can't stop complaining about the weather until the sun really showed up and you said, "Oh it's sunny today..." Then the rain came a few hours later (with the sun still out), and commented, "I can't believe it's raining!" That's London, unfortunately. As lovely as this city is, sometimes (okay, most of the time) the weather just drives you cray cray.

So, in tribute of the bad rainy weather, I'll present to you a gloomy set of what was supposed-to-be-a-bright-Brighton-beach. Our fault, actually, to come to Brighton beach (the one in Melbourne, not in the actual Brighton) in a wintry day. But, you know, being me, I was like, "I WANNA SEE HOW THOSE COLORFUL 'HOUSES' LOOK LIKE!"

They were still colorful, of course. Just with a greyish background.

The dress was very cool, one of my favorites, because it could be styled into 9 different ways. I always love clothing that have multiple designs, you know. So even though it was pricey, it was totally worth it! I could wear it in formal/informal occasions. W.O.M.B is a Singapore local brand, and it is available in Ion and Bugis. I bought the dress a few years back, though, so I'm pretty sure it's not there anymore. But, heads up for new designs! :)

Anyway, whenever I traveled I basically took my outfit posts, right? And it kinda sucked to have the same bag and shoes in every picture, just different clothing. I knew it myself without my brother reminded me, "Ew, why did you take outfit posts? You wore the same bag and shoes!" Well, I'M SORRY I COULDN'T BRING MY WHOLE WARDROBE OVERSEAS! That was the reaction I wanna give to him. But, hm, don't mind hahaha...

P.S. I know they are not "houses". But I don't know what their function is. Like, housing the boats? Or cafes? Do they open in summer? Any Ozzies want to answer this? :)

Surfer's Paradise

I don't know why I don't take as much outfit pictures as I did in the UK. It's so unexpected considering my go-to-photographer a.k.a my sister is here and I can just ask. Then I remembered that I haven't post any of my Ozzie trip last year. But it was a winter trip and it's quite weird posting winter outfits in a summer, so right now I'm just gonna post my Gold Coast outfit pictures. It was still a winter but Gold Coast's winter is like, Sydney's summer. It was breezy and sunny. The weather was lovely.

I really loved Gold Coast. I loved the beach, the atmosphere, the hotel, the downtown, the friendly people, everything. I definitely want to go back there. Ahh, just by looking at these pictures makes me want to go to the beach nowww... I haven't seen any beach views more than a year :(

Since last year cropped top was still a new thing, I wanted to try it with high waist shorts. I really like the colour combo of pale pink and navy blue. Navy blue is really the new black. I've been pairing it with whatever colour possible lately; teal, mint green, lime, purple, cream, mustard... Love it, nail it, wear it (my sister's new phrase only hers is 'buy it' instead of 'wear it').
