Back to Being Bipolar

Well, not me! The weather, of course. You just can't stop complaining about the weather until the sun really showed up and you said, "Oh it's sunny today..." Then the rain came a few hours later (with the sun still out), and commented, "I can't believe it's raining!" That's London, unfortunately. As lovely as this city is, sometimes (okay, most of the time) the weather just drives you cray cray.

So, in tribute of the bad rainy weather, I'll present to you a gloomy set of what was supposed-to-be-a-bright-Brighton-beach. Our fault, actually, to come to Brighton beach (the one in Melbourne, not in the actual Brighton) in a wintry day. But, you know, being me, I was like, "I WANNA SEE HOW THOSE COLORFUL 'HOUSES' LOOK LIKE!"

They were still colorful, of course. Just with a greyish background.

Look how the wind blew really hard it made my dress looked balloony

Dress - W.O.M.B
Legging - Blujuice
Shoes and coat - Zara
Scarf - Burberry
Necklace - Accessorize

The dress was very cool, one of my favorites, because it could be styled into 9 different ways. I always love clothing that have multiple designs, you know. So even though it was pricey, it was totally worth it! I could wear it in formal/informal occasions. W.O.M.B is a Singapore local brand, and it is available in Ion and Bugis. I bought the dress a few years back, though, so I'm pretty sure it's not there anymore. But, heads up for new designs! :)

Anyway, whenever I traveled I basically took my outfit posts, right? And it kinda sucked to have the same bag and shoes in every picture, just different clothing. I knew it myself without my brother reminded me, "Ew, why did you take outfit posts? You wore the same bag and shoes!" Well, I'M SORRY I COULDN'T BRING MY WHOLE WARDROBE OVERSEAS! That was the reaction I wanna give to him. But, hm, don't mind hahaha...

Ciao.

P.S. I know they are not "houses". But I don't know what their function is. Like, housing the boats? Or cafes? Do they open in summer? Any Ozzies want to answer this? :)

The Literature of My Heart

I'm the kind of person who rather write than tell. I don't talk about my feelings. I write about it. I write on my blog, not my diary, cause I don't have one. Thus I blog. And I know, the title of this post is so cheesy I wanna laugh myself but, don't you guys think people tend to get more honest when they write instead of talk? I wanna write "Lips Don't Lie" as the title of my post but of course, lips do lie. A lot. But when you write, you get more sincere. At least I am.

And by writing, you could revisit what have you been pouring down, read it all over again just to reminisce what did you feel back then when you wrote those stuff. You can't do that by speaking, unless you record it. But who does record every deep conversation you have with your friends? Not me. You could always capture the moment, true, but how about if you get short term memory loss or Alzheimer? Hahahaha. Okay, bad joke.

But you get the point what I'm saying, right?

Shirt dress underneath - Zara
Cotton dress - COS
Socks and shoes - Monki
Bag - Prada Saffiano Tote
Bracelets - New Look
Ring - Primark

I love going pastels. In fact, I've been going pastels at least twice a week since the Spring 2012 season hits the magazine. This mint green dress is the perfect cotton dress, I should say, especially knowing it's from COS, one of my favorite brands ever ever! With its loose form, I could do wear it different ways and its awkward length just made me fall in love!

I've also been searching for the perfect flatform, the new invention of creepers, which were re-introduced by high end brands like Chanel and Prada since 2010 but started making a hit in 2012, and I got them from Monki, another high street brand that I adore so much! The socks, though it's not so clear in the picture, were in clouds motives and because I fell in love with socks like I've never been before, I directly bought them. I assure you, I knew the socks and the flatform would work great together. Me gusta.

Ciao.

New Girl

I've never missed the first day of school in a new school year, until this year. Because I dislike being the only new one in the class, missing the assignments (especially this! I have to hurry to get the tasks done and afraid if I couldn't keep track of the homework etc), the groupings, and stuff. And because I have never been the new girl, considering I grew up in the same school since I was kindergarten to high school. I was always the "old one" and I knew everyone in my year. But I guess there's always a first time for everything (well, this one is the second time and it still sucks) and I just hope that this new school year will be good to me (please, please pretty pretty please).

Shirt - GAP
Sweater - Cotton On
Leggings - Unbranded
Coat - Zara
Boots - H&M
Bag - Agnes B
Bow tie - Handmade

You know, I wanted to describe what did I do that day when I took these pictures but I'm still *:s* (whatever that is) about this new girl thing. But, just to make you guys not questioning where did that cute store located, it was in Surry Hills, Sydney. That store did not only sell clothing, but also tidbits (meaning small homewares) and fashion books! How lovely :) And I'm so sorry I forgot the shop's name x.x (bad news, even for me)...

Let me mourn for a few more days about this disturbing thing (yep, still disturbing)...

Ciao.

Head Piece

Not an outfit post, because I dedicate this post to my head piece, which was created by my sister. I love her. Her creativity advantage me! Haha, I'm evil, yes? I just wanna thank her because she made such a beautiful piece for my hair/head. I love it and wanna wear it everyday!

Laurent

Hello, everybody. Short words from me today. I just got back from a small, humble reunion with my high school friends and meeting them just reminded me of how much I miss high school. So, if you're still in high school, please cherish every moment and have loads, loads of fun because it might be the best of the best time of your life. Don't you agree, people who graduated from high school? ;)

Sweater - Jay Jays
Legging - Unbranded
Socks - Sox Galeri
Boots - H&M

Pictures were taken in the beautiful, high-ceiling patisserie Laurent in Melbourne. The place is really pretty and perfect for a Sunday afternoon tea, or any-day-afternoon-tea. At that time my siblings and I ordered the cake Trio, which was one of the best from theirs, and also doughnut and strawberry tart. Oh man, I'm a sucker for strawberry tarts, or strawberry cheesecake, or strawberry shortcake, or any strawberry dessert. Ironic, considering strawberry is not my favorite fruit. But strawberries can look beautifully appealing on desserts and also give a contrast flavor to a sweet pastry. So they are yummy.

Anyway, I was returning back to my hometown that day so I opted for a comfy look such as this oversized sweater and leggings. There's nothing I hate more than flying with jeans. I always fly with leggings or cotton pants. And thanks to the trend now, the printed pants are usually kind of nice to wear during long flight. Or you know, if you couldn't careless, you could wear your pajamas ;)

Ciao.
