Furne One's Amato Haute Couture

I honestly never heard of this designer Furne One who created the brand Amato Haute Couture before, until after I watched America's Next Top Model Cycle 19 finale and I was in awe of the designs for the last runway show. It was amazing beyond words. The beautiful ornaments stuck to the gowns with these lovely silhouettes. Oh my God. I want to wear all of em, if it's ever possible.

Furne One is a Philippine-born and a Dubai-based designer. His works had been worn by Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Nicole Scherzinger, Heidi Klum, etc. And it's only fair to spread his name more on blogs and sites, because hey, when a world have such a wonderful designer like him, he shall not be hidden, but shared. I think he is one of my fave designers right now.

I usually dreaded over over-dramatic brocades and bling-bling, especially if they were made by some 'designers' in my hometown (I used the single quotation marks because they didn't designs, they copied, or at least, they tried to). But, if it was done right, like how Marchesa have done all those drop-dead gorgeous dresses and gowns, I would love em to death!

You know, because sometimes brocades and laces and blings all in one can look cheap, especially if they were not in their best qualities. However, Furne One created these couture-wears from not only those three materials and made them looked magnificent! He incorporated tulles, furs, fishnets, feathers, and many many more.

Here are the pictures from their 'It's Alive' collection. Pictures (above and below) were taken from their website.

I don't really like how the electric blue background overshadowing the pastel clothing, but I guess it was there to emphasise on the futuristic feeling of the clothing. Personally, I think it's about future women warriors. While the strong shoulders exposes strength, firmness, and armor, the pastel colour palette still displaying the touch of femininity of a woman. The metal material and lightsaber attached to the accessories adds an outer-spacey, Star Wars feeling. Overall, they just flow together resulting into this exuberant collection.

Now tell me if this designer isn't worth the spotlight.

Ciao.
