Have I told you that I love navy-themed colours? You know, the usual navy blue (or simply just blue), red and white? They're like one of the classic colour combination ever. They never die. Have you seen how many countries use these colours for their flags? Maybe that's also why I love Cruise Collection from designer houses, especially Chanel (which most of the time include the cruise/navy theme on board like with the stripes and colours or the chains and the cord). I can see the effortlessness mixed with luxury in. The styles are laid back and lovely. And this time I'm not talking about Chanel only.

I always forgot to bring sunglasses whenever I came back to the UK because I think my conscience told me not to, since there will be no sun anyway. And it was true. I never used any pair of sunnies all through Autumn, Winter, and Spring which all summed up into one season: cold and grey. But that day  when we went to Cardiff, Wales, was the first day of June 2013 and the sun shone very brightly and beautifully and I came unprepared therefore I borrowed my friend's. Haha. I always borrowed their sunglasses.

Cardiff is a beautiful city. I don't know if it is during Winter, but during summer it looks amazing, especially the location on Cardiff Bay where the photos were taken. Everybody is out enjoying the sun. Families' outing, couples' dating, girls with ice cream, guys with skateboards, children with dogs, it's just lovely. I wish I could repeat the summer without the heat, only the sun and the mild breeze.

Comfort Zone

Sometimes, the unsaid warmth feeling inside your heart is being home for the whole day, sleeping in your bed, waking up to read a book whilst listening to oldies songs such as The Beatles & Frank Sinatra. To be honest, they're not my favorites but oldies songs are that good. And then here I am, typing up on my blog so a new one will be posted.

I remembered on that day last year in Seoul, South Korea,we separated ourselves from the tour and went to Hongdae--an area famous for the cheap Korean barbeque because it was an area for university students. And damn it was one of the best barbeques I've had in my whole life. It was fairly cheap and satisfying. Then after our lunch, we went to Cheonggyecheon to take some pictures.

If you haven't noticed, I love to wear double volume of clothing. Very loose both on top and bottom. And this is one of the examples. Oline Workrobe and Cotton Ink are both Indonesian brands who produce loose garments with fabulous designs. They're not similar, they have their own characteristics but we can always make many different brands work together. For what I've examined, while Oline Workrobe has more intricate sides (like the detail on the collar of this top), Cotton Ink is the perfect stock for basic items (neutral-coloured A-line skirt). And them together, makes one of my most favorite outfits I've pulled out during my vacation to South Korea last summer. This is the last batch of outfit photographs from SK edition (and everybody pukes). I can't even tell where I got that phrase from. SK edition, really?

They May Say I'm a Dreamer, but I'm Not the Only One

Growing up with a career woman mom, it teaches me how to be hard-working. She teaches me how not to complain about the hard stuff that comes along the way in life and just keep going. Keep on going. Do not complain. I admire my mom for that. Seeing her work and how she has 'fun' with it (like, seriously, I think my mom's hobby is working--not that she is a workaholic, but she doesn't really like to stay at home during the days in weekdays to do nothing, she likes to work), makes me foresee myself as a career woman in the future as well. In my life, I've never imagined myself being a housewife (it's a long way to go, I know), I just had my life planned out a little bit. Like, I know what I want to do.

And sometimes, I feel how easy it would be to not worry about your dream, to just go along as life goes by without planning anything out, but no. It's just not me. I don't want to be fully dependent on someone else later on, I want to be on my own feet (at first at least), to have a grip, and that require me to work very, very hard right now to achieve my own dream. That is why my dream is so important. I have posted something about this before (What Are You Without Your Dreams?) My dream is somehow one of those few things that makes me feel secure.

Even though it was raining, it didn't cease my desire to take some outfit pics. Yeah, cause I'm that narcissistic. Or cause I'm that dedicated with this blog (are we gonna talk about this again? :s )
