Money Honey

Browsed my lookbook files on my laptop and forgot that I haven't posted this series of photo shoot I did last 2 years :o Time!

Shirt - GAP
Black jeans - H&M
Suspender and bow tie - Friend's
Shoes - Christian Louboutin
Hat - Freebie

Photographed by Aida Gunawan and Adrian Caldy

A Charlie Chaplin themed photo shoot for my high school year book and I was the treasurer, hence the money in the pictures. I really liked this concept, really perfect for photo shoot or occasion like birthday parties or farewell parties. The girls dressed in androgyny and the guys wore... what the guys wear usually but with a more vintage vibe around them (my friends brought like that stick for an old man and fake cigar). So it was cool. Missing high school *all teary up*

New Girl

I've never missed the first day of school in a new school year, until this year. Because I dislike being the only new one in the class, missing the assignments (especially this! I have to hurry to get the tasks done and afraid if I couldn't keep track of the homework etc), the groupings, and stuff. And because I have never been the new girl, considering I grew up in the same school since I was kindergarten to high school. I was always the "old one" and I knew everyone in my year. But I guess there's always a first time for everything (well, this one is the second time and it still sucks) and I just hope that this new school year will be good to me (please, please pretty pretty please).

Coat - Zara
Boots - H&M
Bag - Agnes B
Bow tie - Handmade

You know, I wanted to describe what did I do that day when I took these pictures but I'm still *:s* (whatever that is) about this new girl thing. But, just to make you guys not questioning where did that cute store located, it was in Surry Hills, Sydney. That store did not only sell clothing, but also tidbits (meaning small homewares) and fashion books! How lovely :) And I'm so sorry I forgot the shop's name x.x (bad news, even for me)...

Let me mourn for a few more days about this disturbing thing (yep, still disturbing)...

Ciao.

I Shopped Till I Dropped

Probably this was the first time I did that. The saying "shop till you drop" didn't really get me until the day when I went to Jakarta to have a short holiday with sisters and friends. I'm literally broke because my shopping went above the limit -.- But on the other hand, I'm so happy I got all these stuff I can't wait to wear. Oh wait, I can wait. I didn't usually wear my new clothing stuff directly right after I bought it. I waited like for a week, a month, or a year. Just like when I posted my outfit posts ;'p *guilty*

And yes, the pictures below were taken last year, during my winter vacay with ma siblings. Still in Gold Coast. Sydney and Melbourne awaits!

Shirt - GAP
Sweater and shoes - Zara
Trousers - Velvet
Bag - Mulberry Alexa
Bow tie - DIY
Sunnies - Christian Dior

Taken in the Movie World. Another thing why I loved Gold Coast. The theme parks might not be as huge and enchanting as California's but small theme parks weren't that bad. We can go around in just a day unlike the Disneyland in L.A., which if we want to try all the rides and take pictures with all the characters, might take up to three days. Because unless you've been living in that Disneyland for years, it was pretty impossible to do that. Okay, what am I talking about now? Should be about clothes.

Bow ties, probably like collars nowadays, would sweeten your look in an instant. You'd get that preppy and cute vibe at the same time and last year I maintained to make quite a lot with different patterns of fabrics. Well, not "I", but my helper did ;D Rummaging through my Aussie photos reminded me to wear my bow ties again, and collect even more. Maybe you guys should too! :D

Boy Bands

"It feels like we've been living in fast forward and all the moments passing by." - One Direction
My kind of music. It might be a little bit cheesy whatsoever but I really love boy bands like Backstreet Boys, Westlife, and the newest one; One Direction. Their songs are, well, not literally easy-listening, but really...refreshing and easy to listen. I can sing along with it and the tone is not too up-beat nor too slow, just the typical boy bands' songs.
I also like Top 40 songs or rap songs with artists collaboration like "Love the Way You Lie" and "Empire State of Mind". I still listen to country songs like Lady Antebellum or jazzy ones. But the songs that I probably repeat the most are pop songs. I. Love. Pop. (But not Michael Jackson kinda pop).
How about you guys? What genre of music you usually listen to? ;)

These pictures were some of the results from the photoshoot I did with my friends last summer. There were five photographers. But this time I only took the results from those three I mentioned above. I still have, like, 6 more photo sets and will keep posting about them. I planned to have some more photo shoot this summer. How I love photo shoot. Who to blame? I'm a blogger. Or maybe I'm just a narcissist. Hahaha. No. Yes. Maybe.
