Just some more inspirations. Because for me, looking at how other people dress up is one of the most inspiring key to dress up myself :)

Overall, you know, there was no specific trends that these people wore. They wore what they wanted to wear and that was a good thing. Make fashion your own, do not copy straight from the runways. Or else, it wouldn't be you. I saw white, black, black & white, pastels, bright colours, dandy, grunge, preppy, maybe every style imaginable. That proved fashionable people didn't just follow trends, they created trends. They combined, mix-matched, made their own style.

Loved Ones

I'm having this melancholy moment, missing people back at home. Families, siblings, high school friends, the situation I used to have. This feeling came once in a while, a normal and an understandable period of time when you're away.

I miss my parents; the times in the evening/night when I hung out in their room, watching TV together as a family. I miss teasing my little brother, opening and closing his bedroom door while he was playing the computer. He would shout at me to stop doing that. I'll always remember his tone when he was mad LOL. I miss bullying my sister; pinching, bumping, and hitting her. I miss my besties a.k.a. gossip buddies whom I have a lot of similarities with. I miss my blunt high school classmates who are now spread all around the world. I'm not homesick, but I miss home.

Those lovely shades belonged to my friend. I only borrowed it for this photo shoot because it just clicked with my outfit and the surrounding hahaha... I kept taking pictures, thought I didn't have enough, but when I opened the files on my laptop, I have hundreds only in this place. Hah. Girls.

These were taken in Bournemouth back on Christmas Eve last year. The 'houses' were cute, but the ones in Brighton Beach, Melbourne, were still cuter because they were more colourful ;D I would take pictures in any eye-catching backdrops for photo shoot. Heck, I'd take pictures anywhere. Hah. Girls.

Let's Get Going

So I'm back to school. Winter break is over. Holiday is behind me. I need to focus, but sadly got easily distracted by the technology i.e. laptop, iPhone, Blackberry, etc... Same old, same old. But I've promised myself that this year, I want to be the better version of me. So let's post some pics and I'll work on some portfolio pages, aight?

So this is what I got during the MMM x H&M collaboration last year in November. Not what I've expected to buy, but wore this many times already, as expected when I bought it on November the 15th, meaning I love this blazer! I love the pockets inside the blazer, pockets outside the blazer, and the little details like the cross on the bottom and the "unfinished" sew on the shoulders. Margiela was just brilliant, especially with the deconstruction idea that he had for his collections.

While I was in love with ma blazer, almost everybody fell in love with my top. The simple, black neoprene top that I got on sale in Zara for just £20 in January 2012 (then the price kept going down, so sad). I didn't really pay attention to how the top was made until my tutor pointed out that it had no darts, no apparent seams, no fastenings. So when I wore this top I just casually slipped it on like a t-shirt. The best thing was I didn't need to iron it. It went back to its original, straight self after I washed and dried it naturally *grin*
