Salzburg, Austria

One of the most beautiful cities I've visited so far. I fell in love instantly with the view. It is so…. picturesque. For the next few posts it would be about my winter break in 2013-2014. Please bear with me, I'm trying to catch my blog up with my real life right now and I've just realised how weird it is to post throwback posts every time. But hopefully you enjoy the sceneries as much as I did.

You guys know how hard it is to find the perfect boots. So when I found this pair--at first I hesitated but my friend convinced me to buy them--I knew that I have to wear it for the winter break trip since we were not going on a snowy area anyway because that winter it wasn't freezing or anything. And these boots match well with most of my clothing so I was glad. And they were comfy as hell even when I wore them for the first time! Clarks doesn't lie, y'all!

Time to Time

Regrets always comes last. There are things I wished I had done before with the time I had. Now I'm stuck with all the uncertainties and feeling that time is pressuring me, although it is not. Time is the only thing that's stable and running at the same pace as it did before. It's just us -- by us, I mean me -- that cannot keep up with it. It's either I'm a step behind or getting ahead of myself, but I rarely goes hand in hand with time. I said time is mean, time is flying on a jet plane, but the fact is, I walk instead of run when I'm chasing time. Time and I were friends, but I didn't know the meaning of friendship, and now… time is leaving me.

Eternity

"People everywhere ponder the meaning of life, but they can't agree on the answer. If we really want to find what matters in this life, we will consider eternity. What matters most is what matters in eternity. And what matters in eternity is not income, or friendship, or fame, or pleasure. Those things are fine in themselves. But they will not outlast death." - Judah Smith

Serpentine Pavilion 2013 by Sou Fujimoto

Every year a world-class architect designs an installation outside the Serpentine Gallery to be viewed and used by public, for free. The latter is very important because everybody loves free stuff :) And I think it is one of the aspects I will miss the most about London because this kind of creativity have so much thought put into it even though it comes for free and it is so great to see such things to inspire you. Although ideas can come from anywhere, I just really love to see contemporary sculptures or art that intrigues the mind and Serpentine Pavilion is just the 'it' thing. Although I wished I had known about this the first time I arrived in London 4 years back, I was lucky enough to visit the Pavilion 2 years in a row.

"Over the past 15 years the Serpentine Pavilion has become an international site for architectural experimentation, presenting inspirational temporary structures by some of the world's greatest architects. A much-anticipated landmark in London each summer, the Pavilion is one of the top-ten most visited architectural and design exhibitions in the world."
