Universal Studios

I really cannot think of a better title than that. My "creative" brain doesn't cope with me at the moment. But let's just talk about the outfits, shall we? Since for the last few posts--or most of my posts for that matter--aren't about my outfits at all. I borrowed this lovely Cotton Ink jacket from my sister even though I bought it for her in the first place and I borrowed the cap from my brother. I was only prepared with the top and jacket without any bottom because I was hoping to find something along the trip and I actually did. I found these short shorts from Forever 21 when I was shopping in my first night in Hawaii (best thing ever because I shopped by myself without nobody tagging along and I got to try loads and got to buy loads with no time restraints). The great part was F21 in the US was freaking cheap (like that was a shocker)! Now I'm not really the kind of person who wear super short shorts but at that time I thought it was fitting the outfit well so why not? And by now you probably are bored to death with my shoes and bag. But I haven't. So deal with them (also for the next few posts).

Sunset Ride

One of my favourite things to see everyday or every other day (because the sun is very indecisive to show itself when it comes to London, okay?) is sunrise or sunset. The sky become so beautiful with its gradients and for a moment it takes my breath away. If you think about it, the sky can actually change to mostly every colour you could think of. Blue (the obvious one), grey (London's sky), black (at night), dark blue (evening) and there are times when it turns to cotton candy colour (pinkish-purple-blue), or the yellow-orange-purple-blueish, or the green one even (Aurora). It's like asking God, "how do You do this? You must be very great." And He is.

Still on the USA trip pictures:

I am not a fan of Celine Dion, it was a matter of taking picture with a star, any star. I cannot find someone I particularly like, so I just took some with the very famous ones like Celine. But after I watch her concert (if I get my hands on a ticket), maybe, who knows?

Lost Angels

I can't complain more than I have on how inconvenient it is to travel in California, or Los Angeles to be exact. So I was asking to the hotel concierge on how to get to Downtown LA from Anaheim where we stayed, are there any public transport whatsoever, and he just said the best way is to drive by car. And we didn't have any car. So we booked a car provided from the hotel instead that was gonna drop us off in downtown and pick us up again later in the evening). Wasn't actually pleased with the city itself, although the road is big and spacey compared to London (that provides waaay more convenient approaches to travel), I was expecting something a bit more wow from LA. It's just… dull and doesn't live up to its name. Okay. Maybe I'm being too harsh on this city and maybe it's because I haven't seen the whole LA or go to the more trendy places to hang out (but I did go to Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills, what more do you have to offer? Maybe the beach. I didn't go to Malibu, no, thanks to your favourable way to travel). But enough of the negativity, the angels could only take one criticism at a time.

Il Pastaio

Sprinkles's red velvet ice cream

Crustacean

The one good thing that happened as expected is the food. From lunch (Il Pastaio) to dessert (Sprinkles ice cream and cupcakes) to dinner (Crustacean), they were amazing. I'm wishing to go back to LA again for the food. And maybe for the palm trees. That decorated the city beautifully.
