I love it when a brand does a collaboration with a designer, especially if it's a print designer because not only the newly launched designs have mixed aesthetics and personalisation, it is unique and different from the rest of the collections in store. Uniqlo have always had collaborations with humbled designers that not everybody recognises but the collections that they create together intrigued me most of the time. My favourites among the collaborations Uniqlo had were Orla Kiely and Celia Birtwell. Look at the print on my skorts! Aren't they lovely?
Also, I've been waiting for the perfect varsity jacket (which have the letter A on it instead of any other letter) and I'm glad I can tell you that the search is over. I found one for only 20 quid from Pull & Bear during the sale! The colours are perfect (navy and burgundy, what could be better for a varsity jacket? Well, probably navy and mustard would be) and it is warm so I could wear it during winter. I know that this particular trend (varsity jacket) is ending but well, you can never get old with a jersey, right? It's like high school. You'll drag out your uniform once in a while to reminisce how fun, naive, stupid, gracious those years were.
